Welcome to The Mar Thoma Opportunity School, the MTOS is an educational institution which has been functioning at Bangalore at the beautiful city of Bangalore, Krishnarajapuram for the past 41 years. We work with children of mental as well as physical disabilities. Our aim is to give them a brightful future, a future filled with hope, a future filled with new dawns happening each day.

We categorise the children into 4 major groups. It is based on their intellectual ability. So for a Group 4 student, that student would have multiple mental disabilities. Therefore, our main focus to train them would be in socialising as well as responding to their basic needs. Group 3, Group 2 and Group 1 are based on their different levels of capability each student is able to meet.

We also get help from AMBA, through which we help them in the computer based applications and we give them training on data entries with the laptops provided by AMBA. We also have got a consistent support from many of our corporate partners through which we have been able to expand our needs so that many children can be majorly benefitted.

The MTOS continues to strie to give a space to the different children. The need is many but we are often being held back by certain factors which we pray will be met in the coming future as well. We continue to extend our love and prayers to each of you and thank you wholeheartedly for the constant support you have been showering to the MTOS and we solicit your esteemed prayers and your support in different means so that our institution can help many children be a part of today's society.

We also have an in-house lodging facility which can be provided to our children wherein we have 2 separate rooms for the boys as well as girls and we have a specific care-taker, a specific person to cook the food and a person to take care of their personal needs.
